GB Education & Guardians Ltd, specializing in international student recruitments and guardianship services, was officially established in May 2017.
The company is based in York, a historic city in the northern part of England. Its mission is to provide students aspiring to study at British Independent schools with admission applications, study abroad guardianship, academic support, educational tours, and related services.
Company Founder
The company’s founder, Ms Coco Zhao, has been residing in the UK for over 20 years. Coco studied a Master course in Language Learning and Education from the University of York in 2011 and previously served as the Chairperson of the York Chinese Cultural Association. With years of experience in language learning and teaching, she is well-versed in British culture and is known for her exceptional communication skills and warm demeanour, earning the trust and affection of both parents and students. As a mother of two children, Ms. Coco is compassionate, approachable, and deeply committed to the growth and well-being of young people

Since the establishment of the company, Ms Coco Zhao has led the team in successfully helping international students apply to their ideal schools in the UK, including prestigious private primary schools and secondary schools such as Westminster school, Chris Hospital School, Mill Hill School , St. Peter School, Bootham School, Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate, The Mount School etc.. The company team has also successfully helped students apply for admission to universities, such as Imperial College, UAL, CSM, LCC, University of Bath, University of Durham, University of Manchester which are part of the Russell Group of excellent universities. The team has also assisted students in gaining admission to top institutions in the United States, such as New York University, ACCD.
